1. Email ads: Send your ad copy and the referral link of the site you are advertising. In the description put the name of the site. 2. PTCS and Banner Impressions: Send only your referral link and the banner url. No other coding is needed, just those two urls is all we need. Example: Referral link: http://www.YOURWEBSITEHERE.com/pages/index.php?refid=YOURUSER NAME (replace YOUR WEBSITEHERE with your own website and YOURUSERNAME with your own user name) Banner URL: http://YOURWEBSITEHERE.com/YOURBANNERNAMEHERE.gif ( or.jpg) (replace YOUR WEBSITEHERE with your own website, and YOURBANNERNAMEHERE with your image name) If you have placed your images in a separate folder such as "images, then your banner url would look like this: http://YOURWEBSITEHERE.com/images/YOURBANNERNAMEHERE.gif ( or.jpg) 3. PTP rotator views: Send only the referral link. No other ad or coding is needed. In the box for ad text, just place the url again, no ad is needed here. Absolutely no ptp links are allowed in PTP rotator. Regular referral links and affiliate page links are fine. 4. Front page sponsor links and treasure room links: Send the referral link and site name only. In the box for ad text, just place the url again, no ad is needed here. Banner Hosting: Many sites require you to host your own banners. If they say : You MUST upload this banner to your own computer, DO NOT just copy the code you see on their banner page. This uses the site's bandwidth and can cost the site quite a bit of money. You can find banners usually on a site's referral center page. You will need to right click on the banner and "save as" to your own computer. Then you will need to upload it either to your own website, or you can use one of the free image storage sites listed below:
Ideally, banners for impressions and/or ptcs should be approximately 468 x 60 pixels in size. This is because they often are displayed up in the timer bar and very large or odd shaped banners do not display properly. Also, very large banners take longer to load and some members are on dialup.
